Ústí nad Labem

Nachdem die Ausstellung in Eberswalde leider nicht den erhofften Erfolg brachte (der Richter schien keine Kurzhaarkatzen insbesondere Thai zu mögen), haben wir kurzfristig beschlossen, das Abenteuer zu wagen und zur Ausstellung des Katzenfreunde Lausitz und Niederlausitz (KFLN) nach Tschechien zu fahren. Allein habe ich mich nicht getraut, da der Weg doch sehr weit war und ich nicht sicher war, wie weit mich meine Sprachkenntnisse (Englisch, Spanisch und etwas Französich) bringen würden. Jedoch mit Züchterkollegin und Freundin Sabine Groß (Bellezza Gattas) war es halb so schwer ;-)
Wir haben Ústí nad Labem schnell gefunden und dank sehr netter tschechischer Einheimischer - die zum Teil hervorragend Deutsch sprachen - auch das Kulturzentrum, in dem die Ausstellung stattfand. Die Ansagen erfolgten auf Tschechisch, Deutsch und Englisch, so dass es keinerlei Verständigungs- schwierigkeiten gab. Der KFLN und die Fife führten zeitgleich ihre Ausstellungen in der großen Halle durch und es bestand sogar die Möglichkeit, an beiden Ausstellungen teilzunehmen. Zum Schluss traten die vier besten Katzen beider Vereine gegeneinander an.

Biene und Amaryllis

Amaryllis und Biene erhielten beide ihren CACE-Punkt und ich fand endlich für meine rote Käfigausstattung passende Bettchen. Die Ausstellung war also in jeder Hinsicht ein Erfolg. Da sich Amaryllis und Biene in Ústí gut ausgeruht hatten, haben sie uns auf dem Rückweg lautstark und ausdauernd unterhalten.

Bei Tinkerbell hat diesmal alles geklappt. Sie ist schon ziemlich rund und ihre Zitzen sind knallrot. In etwa 5 Wochen sollte sie ihre Babys zur Welt bringen. Nachts rollt sich Tinky neben meinem Kopf auf dem Kissen zusammen und kuschelt mit mir.
An Farben erwarten wir Orientalen in ebony und seal-tabby und Siamesen in seal- und seal-tabby-point. Möglich, jedoch unwahrscheinlich wäre auch cinnamon, da Tinky und Butzelmann (Igor) cinnamon tragen.

Ústí nad Labem

Después de que la exposición en Eberswalde desgraciadamente no hacía efecto (parecía que al juez no le gustaban los gatos del pelo corto especialmente los gatos siameses tradicionales), a corto plazo decidimos de atrever la aventura de ir a la exposición de la asociación Katzenfreunde Lausitz und Niederlausitz (KFLN) en la República Checa. No me atrevía ir solo porque la ruta es bastante larga y no estaba segura, hasta que punto mi conocimiento de idiomas (inglés, español y un poco frances) aprovecharían. Pero junta con mi amiga y colega de criadora Sabine Groß (Bellezza Gattas): ¡No hay para tanto! ;-)
Encontrabamos Ústí nad Labem muy rapido y gracias a la gente checa aborigen que estaba muy simpatica - y que en parte hablaba el alemán excelente - también encontrabamos el centro cultural en que la exposición tenía lugar. Los mensajes ocurrían en checo, alemán y inglés, de forma que no había problemas de comunicación. La KFLN y la fifé organizaban al mismo tiempo dos exposiciones en el pabellón grande y los expositores tenían la posibilidad de participar en ambos exposiciónes. Al final los juezes comparaban los cuatro gatos mejores de ambas asociaciones.
Amaryllis y Bumblebee recibieron sus puntos de CACE y finalmente encontré camas de gatos adecuadas para mi equipo de jaulón rojo. La exposición era un exito en todos los aspectos! Porque Da sich Amaryllis y Bumblebee se relajaban muy bien durante la exposición de Ústí, nos entretenían ruidoso y con constancia en el regreso.

Con Tinkerbell esta vez todo funcionaba. Ya esta bastante gorda y sus tetas estan rojas encendidas. Dentro de 5 semanas dará a luz sus bebes. Por la noche Tinky se ovilla al lada de mi cabeza en la almohada y acaricia conmigo.
Esperamos gatitos de colores ebony (negro) y seal-tabby con los orientales y con los siameses de colores seal- y seal-tabby-point. También posible pero improbable será cinnamon (canela), porque Tinky y también Igor llevan este color en sus genes.

Ústí nad Labem

Upon we unfortunately did not succeed at the exhibition in Eberswalde (the judge seemed not to like short-haired cats especially tradicional siameses), we short-dated decided to dare the adventure and went to the exhibition of the cat-association Katzenfreunde Lausitz und Niederlausitz (KFLN) in the Czech Republic. I did not have the heart to travel allone, because the trip is very far and I was not shure, what the knowledge of languages (english, spanish and a little bit frensh) could help me in the Czech Republic. But together with my friend and breeder-colleague Sabine Groß (Bellezza Gattas) it was no so difficult as I thought ;-)
We found Ústí nad Labem quickly and thanks to the very friendly czech habitants - who particulate spoke german very well - we also found the center of culture in which the cat-exhibition took place. The announcements were made in czech, german and english, so that there were no communication-problems. The KFLN and the Fife arranged their exhibitions at the same time in the big hall and it was actually possible to take part in both exhibitions. At the end the four best cats of both exhibitions competed.
Amaryllis and Bumblebee got their CACE-points and I finally found an adequate red cat-bed for my red cage-decoration. So the exhibiton was a success in all intents. Because Amaryllis and Bumblebee relaxed in Ústí, they had enough energy to entertain us on our way home loudly an with endurance.

This time Igor fullfilled his job with Tinkerbell. She already is pretty thick and her dugs are glaring red. Within five weeks she will give birth to her babies. By night Tinky convolves near my head on my pillow and cuddles with me.
We expect Oriental Short Hairs in ebony (black) and seal-tabby as well as siameses in seal- and seal-tabby-point. Possibel but improbably are kitten in cinnamon, because Tinky and Igor wear cinnamon in their gens.
